An image with the word end drawn on the ground in orange chalk. This post is headed The End Of The World Is Nigh

When I was much younger, it was not unusual to see people on busy street corners holding signs that said things like,

“The End Of The World Is Nigh.”

“Repent While You Still Can.”

The placard holders usually had a religious reason for their action.

And some thought nuclear war was imminent.

Today, young people would resonate with the first message but for very different reasons.

They think the Earth is doomed because of human-made climate change.

They could be right, but let’s hope that we can still turn things around.

Back to the first message.

Without wishing to be too morbid, every day marks the end of the world for someone.

Many someones in fact.

Their passing from this life may come after a long and healthy number of years, or it may come unexpectedly.

It’s not something we like to think about, but it is reality.

Therefore, planning what will happen to your estate when you’re gone is something to do now, not later.

Act now to secure peace of mind for yourself and security for those you love.
